Group counseling is a form of therapy where people with similar experiences/issues come together with a professional counselor. The counselor runs the session, but generally everyone contributes in some way, listening to others and talking themselves. It's usually focused on a particular issue, like: anxiety.

  • I will run a group with 5-8 people. The ideal number of people involved in group counseling is six. This allows for everyone to participate, express their thoughts and feelings, and feel heard
  • The length of Group counseling varies from four to eight 1 hour sessions spread over the course of two months. Again, depends on the nature of the topic.  
  • Prices vary depending on number of sessions and topic choice of group.
